Cartridge Integration
Axxin Cartridge Design
Axxin has proven cartridge design and development capability to provide solutions to suit a wide variety of assays and applications.
Sample-to-Answer Cartridges build upon our catalogue of horizontal and vertical cartridge designs. Integrating cartridge design directly into an IVD instrument platform takes the complexity out of the cartridge project, driving down the cost per test and time to market.
Significant project advantages can be obtained by utilising an integrated approach to cartridge and instrument development. These advantages include reduced cost per test, improved workflow and usability, and regulatory compliance including safety and CLIA waved applications.

Horizontal Cartridges
Axxin horizontal cartridge technology provides high multiplex solutions and additional sample processing including proprietary membrane sample treatment and DNA/RNA capture.
Axxin horizontal cartridge formats have advantages for production and cost per test for increased multiplex including syndromic panels. Patents granted and in process.
Vertical Cartridges
Axxin has developed proprietary vertical format cartridges that provide integrated sample processing amplification and detection for isothermal assays with integrated sample processing.
These cartridge formats provide simple workflow, fully sealed operation. Cartridge designs are optimised for polypropylene injection moulding with novel reagent loading methods for low cost per test. Patents granted and in process.
